A family vacation turned fatal after a 32-year-old woman was swept away by a huge wave at the Bandra Bandstand in Mumbai on Sunday, July 3. The woman, identified as Jyoti Panchal, was visiting the popular tourist spot with her husband and two children when the incident occurred.

The Panchals had been enjoying a day at the beach when Jyoti decided to go for a swim. Her husband and children watched from the shore as she waded into the water. But suddenly, a large wave crashed down on Jyoti, sweeping her away. Her husband and children screamed for help, but it was too late. Jyoti was gone.
