Fuller House's Candace Cameron Bure Recalls Near-Death Zipline Stunt

Candace Cameron Bure Almost Canceled Fuller House Interviews After Scary Accident

Candace Cameron Bure was lucky to escape serious injury on the set of "Fuller House" after a stunt went wrong while filming a zipline scene for the show.

The actress recalled the horrifying incident during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday, saying that she was "inches" away from being seriously hurt.

Bure said that she was ziplining through a tunnel when she suddenly lost her grip on the handle. She said that she was able to grab onto the rope with her hands, but her feet were dangling below her.

"I was just hanging there," Bure said. "I was inches away from hitting the ground."

Bure said that she was eventually able to pull herself up onto the rope and make her way back to safety.

The actress said that the accident left her shaken, but she was grateful that she was not seriously injured.

"It was a reminder that you never know when something can happen," Bure said. "I'm just glad that I'm okay."

Bure said that she considered canceling all of her "Fuller House" interviews after the accident, but she decided to go ahead with them because she wanted to share her story and raise awareness about the importance of safety on set.

"I'm just glad that I can laugh about it now," Bure said. "It was a scary experience, but I'm okay."
