The Warriors came out firing in the first half, taking an early lead. However, the Celtics fought back, with Tatum and Brown leading the charge. At halftime, Boston held a slim 5-point lead.
The Warriors came out strong in the third quarter, outscoring the Celtics 35-14 to take a 4-point lead. However, Boston refused to go away. Tatum and Brown continued to score, and the Celtics clawed their way back into the game.
In the fourth quarter, the Celtics took control of the game. They outscored the Warriors 28-19, with Tatum and Brown continuing to lead the way. With just over a minute remaining, Tatum hit a clutch three-pointer to give the Celtics a 5-point lead. The Warriors had a chance to tie the game, but Stephen Curry's three-point attempt bounced off the rim.
Tatum finished the game with 26 points, while Brown added 27 points. Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, while Klay Thompson added 25 points.
The Celtics now have a 2-1 lead in the series. Game 4 will be played on Friday night in Boston.
